Fun & Functional Spaces
I've loved home design since I was a teenager, redesigning rooms in my family home. The connection with my environment has stayed with me through out my adult years, and all the while I was building my career in the world of advertising and marketing. I soon realized that my client management experience, brand development passion and my love for design marry perfectly for this venture that is R. Apple & Co.
I believe that furnishings and decor are portals into memories of the past, and love mixing vintage pieces with new materials to make the spaces unique and look like they were built over a long period. I love to use eco-friendly materials when possible. Not only am I a designer but I'm a mom of 3, and a Master Gardener Volunteer in-training. So I understand the need for spaces to not only be beautiful but also functional.
